What do you recommend for a chopper?

I am only looking forward to hearing from experince chopper fans. I know what I like so save your negative comments. Any way I am looking into buying one and I am on the fence between American Iron horse,Big Dog,Ultra or any other "cookie cutter" bike. I am looking to purchase used or someone else ground-up custom. What do you think is a good bike?

There are a lot of options you have to choose from. i personally like thunder mountain customs, big bear, and american ironhorse. take your pick of the bunch. the thing i would recommend staying away from is any of them running rev tech motors or trannys. they are very cheap and have a high failure rate altough they ussually stand behind them but that is a month you don't have your 30,000 plus bike. many harley dealerships will work on thunder mountain customs which helps out they also fun 103B twincam motors. so they are balanced and have plenty of power. an s&s 124 will make a lot more power that you may or may not ever use, but it will shake the fillings out of your teeth all day long, not good for day rides. they do look good sitting outside the bar though. whatever you choose just make sure you look at alot of different dealers or private sellers. the market is saturated with these bikes so if that is what you want you should be able to get a great deal from a dealer or there are a lot of private sellers trying to get rid of them also. If you want to spend a couple extra $$ get a bourget, they aren't really cookie cutter but they are well built and they definatley turn heads. good luck

i want to buy an investment property on the gold coast, Australia. How much will i need to start?

Ok so im currently studying and am wanting to buy an investment property with my brother in about a year, so i can save. Im just wondering how you go about it and how much you need to start?
I will either move to the gold coast in 2008 or 2009 so i will want to live in it and also rent it out when we purchase it.
I still currently live at home and i have around $7000 in my bank at the moment.
What do i need to know about investing in property? What are the pros cons. Is it a good idea to invest in the first house i buy after leaving home?

The previous answer is a scam.

I live close to the Gold Coast (an hour away). For a new two bedroom apartment with small water views, prices are about AUD$500,000. For AUD$500,000, you could also get a 3 bedroom house about 3 kilometres from the beach, with no views.

You'd struggle to get anything good on the coast for less than AUD$400,000, unless you are willing to buy older (15yrs+) places.

Be warned though: the Gold Coast property market is highly cyclical. Prices can go down as well as up. You will get ripped off unless you actually go there, and look around with a few different real estate agents.

This City Isn’t Just for The Nature Lover

Eugene, Oregon is nestled snugly in the heart of Williamette Valley between the Cascade and Coast ranges. Eugene is nicknamed "Emerald City" since the turquoise Williamette River runs tranquilly through it's heart, with forests of fir trees skirting around the edges. This hidden gem of Oregon has the feel of a relic from the past, with the promise of new discoveries around every corner.
