what irons would be good for me?
so right now i reg. flex shafts which are obviously not right for me since i now hit my drives 280 pretty consistently. i shoot right around 79 or 80 pretty much every round, and i was just wondering what irons would be good for my skill level. i was thinking like a sort of hybrid between blades and cavity backs? i need to be able to shape the ball, but i also want forgiveness. p.s.--under $1000
Why aren't regular shafts right for you? Do you know your clubhead speed? If not, go to your local pro shop and get fitted for clubs. You can go for a game improvement iron or a better player's iron. I like the Nike VR Split Cavity which has a blade look and the forgiveness of a cavity. Also there is the Titleist AP2, and the Mizuno MP-58.
